Ballycastle

Ballycastle...

Ballycastle is an ideal stop along the Causeway Coast with Glenshesk, Glentaisie, Knocklayd, Fair Head, Raghery(Rathlin Island) and Scotland all providing beautiful views and exceptional walks in natural landscapes of forests, mountain, beach and cliff, it is also a rest point for several long distance walks and trails like the Ulster Way and the International Appalachian Trail. The large harbour provides a regular ferry crossing to Raghery.  Ballycastle is where the Glenshesk Scenic Route loops off at the seafront and takes you through Glenshesk and around Knocklayd mountain to the Round Tower at Armoy (Dark Hedges) and back through Glentaisie.
