GLENCORP

 Glencorp - glen of the slaughter, bodies or dead - the glen runs at right angle to Glendun and Glenaan, it merges into both and some, like myself would say it  merges into Glenballyemon too. Cross Slieve mountain forms the eastern glen side and Gruig Top over looks the western side between Glendun and Glenaan. The main Antrim Coast road runs through the entire glen linking Cushendall to Cushendun and Ballycastle. Another road known as the Ballybrack Road follows the glen higher up along the side of Cross Slieve  passing the fairy hill of  Tieverah and Cairns before descending steeply into Cushendall.
